A simple afternoon and some memorie surround by tulips with your love and / or friends / family … Right?!? But tell me if I’m wrong! I’m so curious! 🙏🏻

Definitely less boats this year, but sure the same amount of people of every age, DJs at every corner, including a saxophonist in Herengracht simply fantastic, and the orange colour around the city center’ streets! 🧡

A unique king’s birthday to celebrate at least once in your life, as also .psi wrote in her last newsletter (to read)! And this was our 5th one this time with our friends from Florence! 😉

Have you ever celebrated the king’s day in the NL or Amsterdam? It’s always the 27th of April. Save this to remember to book your travel for next year! 💥

Three cities, three chapters, and a journey that changed everything. 🌍

I grew up in a small 🇮🇹 town near Bergamo (Ciserano) and I studied in Milan, but at 21, right after university, I packed my life into a suitcase and left. And while my roots are there, these three cities are what truly shaped the woman and the professional I became.

🇮🇹 Florence: My first stop. I worked as a Project Manager for an international architecture firm, consulting for High luxury brands. A job that I loved. It taught me an obsessive attention to detail and a relentless search for beauty. But… Most importantly, it’s where I met my husband: “Galeotta fu ferragamo”

Amsterdam surprised us with snow again, also today. ❄️✨🤩

After 5 years… here it is: an entire white city, waiting for canals to freeze at this point (like in the last video, where it’s starting… 😉) but yes also with some issues to solve: like all the cancelled flights and trains, streets and cycle paths to clean from the snow and to make them safe with the salt (and can I say for me completely unexpected, thinking to leave in a so efficient country?!)… 🤯

What is your experience with snow in these days? Did you have any problem?

There are those who love snow and those who lie. Which side are you on? 😜

And… Look how lovely is our neighborhood, for the first time since when we live here, all white, during our walk post lunch! ✨❄️🤩

Ps: but the cover was shot in 2021, when also all the canals iced!! Will they ice also this year? Let’s see and hope! 😉
