Today marks the end of the first half of 2024! As of Wednesday I shall be heading away for some proper holiday with my family in Norfolk and, after that, Prague. This season has been intense and I've been incredibly grateful to have the opportunity to serve so many wonderful clients since February. The energy & passion that my clients pour into making their events the best they possibly can be should be reflected back to them through my photography work and its in this intersection between dream and reality that the magic lives ... so a big thank you to all of my clients for helping to make this album what it currently is;

Featuring some of my favourite work created in the year 2024 .... this year we've traveled on work assignments to Barcelona, London, San Diego, Marrakech, Sorrento, Nashville, Berlin, Madrid, New York City & Brussels. Much more to come!

I had a wonderful time in London last week and was completely taken aback by the 61 judges' verdict.

The prestigious Overall Winner trophy and a cheque for £1,000 was won by Netherlands-based photographer, Benjamin Arthur at the awards' 10th edition.

m&i Forums keep upping THEIR game so I have to keep upping mine! This is probably the most complete set of images I've ever delivered any client in my career. Glad that I'm starting to hit my stride finally!

A late night walk around reveals a great many wonderful sights. First, there is a magnificent peace that settles over this crazy bustling city of over 15 million. Second, the busiest places during the day seem to be the quietest places at night. Third the architecture looks quite at its best during the night.

The Event Photography Awards are the world's premier showcase for my trade - event photography - and allow us to show off what we do which is bring events to life in, we hope, a special and original way.

Coming out of the pandemic I was pleased to see such a strong bounceback for our industry and 2022 was the first "normal" year we've had since 2019. That is why this year I really spent a lot of time thinking about and selecting my entries for this year's awards.

Entries close in 5 days time; 17th April ... so I was happy to get the last few entered today! Let me know which shots you think should be winning an award (if any) below!!!
