Rikard with his brandnew Top Fuel Bike testing in Malmo, Sweden.
His first ever run on his build TFB.
I was there and he came back with a BIG smile!
He said his Championship Funnybike was impressive, but this was a different world...
Whe all know what he achieved in his NITRO journey.
He maybe left us but his legacy lives on and he will never be forgotten.

Susanne Callin Racing at the Main Event on Santa Pod Raceway
with her TOP FUEL DRAGSTER did great and won the event and is now pointsleader with 97 points in the 2026 TFD FIA European Drag Racing Championship!

Final round FIA Top Fuel Dragster:

Susanne Callin 3.9027/311.17Mph def. Jndia Erbacher 4.0191/307.94Mph

TOP FUEL BIKE Racer from the U.K. Neil Midgley here at the Main Event on Santa Pod Raceway for the 1st round of the FIM-E TFB European Championship on his Cannon Motorsports PUMA Supercharged Nitro Injected TFB that has lots of potential.
Neil went multiple times under the 1 Second 60ft! And as far I know he has the quickest ever 60ft in the class. His 1/8 is also very strong and if he finds his full confidence back he can be incredible and capable of running 5.6's or even quicker! The tremendous power these Top Fuel Bikes produces are
allmost beyond believe, One can only imagine how it would feel
going down the 1/4 and keeping that open!
Neil became runner-up at the Main Event.

His PB is [email protected] he ran in 2023 also at the Main Event.

Neil also ran a Super Twin Top Fuel and he ran Turbocharged Methanol Funnybikes. And Competition Bike.
Neil is Motorcycle Dragracing over 3 decades.

SUPER STREET BIKE Racer from the United Kingdom Jack Shook that is a teammember of the JKE Race Works Family here at the Main Event competing in the 1st round of the FIM-E Super Street Bike European Championship 2026 with his Turbocharged Suzuki GSX-R 1000 that is a proven platform and lightweight.
The fronthalf of these 1000's is very impressive and when the boost
pressure keeps adding they can fly for sure!

Mike Olie just ran a [email protected]! in ACU Leeks Landscape Funnybike class at Santa Pod Raceway in the UK with his Kawasaki ZX14 Turbo Methanol Fuel tech assisted Funnybike during the Sportsman Nationals during Qualification round number 3.
Excellent performance with OEM Kawasaki engine! (different rods & transmission).
And that is close to his PB of [email protected] in the Funnybike class. And with more to come!
The record in Funnybike is [email protected] by Stuart Crane.
He is now 1st Qualified in the class.
Well done Mike!

Dale Leeks with his Toyota Camry "BEAST FROM THE EAST" Fuel Funny Car did an Epic side by side against Dragracing Legend
John Spuffard with the Showtime Racing Fuel Funny Car from Bob Jarrett during the Main Event in May at Santa Pod Raceway that has the 60th Anniversary this year!
To witness these immaculate Powerhouses going down the 1000ft
side by side is just beyond believe! The roar and thunder they produce is incredible, one can only slight imagine how it would feel...John Spuffard made an incredible comeback from an Ilness that he won! He is a true hero at Santa Pod Raceway in the U.K.
Dale Leeks and his daughter were very proud to stand on the ceremonial stand at the pricegiving on monday!
Both teams worked very hard all during the very hot days at the Main Event. What a race! An dear friend of mine once said...
And Mr John Spuffard went over 300Mph!
He also ran a PB with that incredible [email protected]!
Congrats to all involved!

🏁 🇲🇹 Luke Farrugia from Malta on the "Checkmate" Funnybike racing in FIM-E Top Fuel Bike class at the Main Event 2026 at Santa Pod Raceway and made a strong run very close to his PB but this is his Official FIM-E PB so far with more in it for sure.
A strong [email protected] at the 1/4
And [email protected] at the 1/8
These ET says the potential of this immaculate FB with a Suzuki GSX Methanol Turbocharged engine.
The future looks bright for this team with Gabriel Briffa and his Father. Luke use to run in FIM-E Super Street Bike and debuted at the Festival of Power in April this season which layed down strong numbers in this Event in Funnybike class and he won the event!
Keep an eye on this team that races in FIM-E TFB as they are capable of winning in a Nitro class with Methanol!

RIKARD'S LAST RUN 🏁

Bittersweet it is as this photo I took from Rikard his last ever full 1/4 run against his good friend and FIM-E Top Fuel Bike racer Neil Midgley in the Final round on Monday evening on the 25th of May 2026 19:26 pm during the Main Event on Santa Pod Raceway.
Rikard won the event and finished this run with [email protected] Which seemed a bit slow as it sounds kind of strange but his High Performance over all this years kind of aspect us to see a 5.6 run again or even quicker and over 250Mph as he did many times before..That speed he made was incredible and went even over 260Mph!...
Never knowing that this will be his Last run....
He didn't know, I didn't know, nobody knew....
That makes it so hard and still it so hard to believe what happend only a few days later.
He lived a live that only few can have and gave it all!
Motorcycle Dragracing was his life and he achieved all that will be forever carved in our minds, It will be so strange without him on the racetracks. His dedicated team and the goals he still had.
I can write so much down about his achievements, but most of us know that allready.
I like to share this photo of Rikard his last ever run.
