I loved this family session in Haarlem.

They’re getting ready to move back home, and wanted some photos to remember this chapter of their lives here in the Netherlands.

I think that’s one of my favorite things about family photography — freezing a particular season of life so you can look back on it years later and remember exactly what it felt like to be there.

This sweet couple traveled all the way from the USA to have their wedding photos taken here in the Netherlands, and it was such an honor to capture this chapter of their story. They chose Amsterdam and then a beautiful Dutch town. They had quiet moments together, and an experience they’ll never forget.

One of my favorite things about elopements is how relaxed they feel. You can slow down, soak it all in, and actually enjoy every part of your wedding day. No rushing from one thing to the next—just creating memories together.

Whether you’re dreaming of exchanging vows along Amsterdam’s canals, exploring charming Dutch streets, or celebrating your love somewhere tucked away in the countryside, the Netherlands offers so many beautiful places to make your wedding day uniquely yours.
