A dramatic moment unfolded during the burial ceremony of Late Deaconess Mary Nwaobia at Ala-Ukwu Umumgbede Division in Isingwu Mbutu Autonomous Community, Osisioma, Abia State, as a “Gorilla Man” made a striking appearance, captivating attendees with his unique display.

The event, which drew family, friends, and well-wishers, was a celebration of a remarkable life well lived. Late Deaconess Mary Nwaobia, who passed on at the age of 107, was honored for her longevity, legacy, and impact on her community.

🏆 2026 SPORTS FESTIVAL CELEBRATION🏆

Dezipa International Academy held her annual Sports Festival on 18th February, 2026 at Etegwue Primary School Field, Yenagoa, bringing together pupils, parents, and staff for a colourful and exciting day of athletic competition.

After a thrilling contest across various events, Blue House, who had already won the last two editions, once again emerged champions of this year’s edition, making it a remarkable third consecutive victory.

The event was filled with teamwork, sportsmanship, and outstanding performances from all the houses, making it a memorable celebration of talent and unity within the school community.

Congratulations to Blue House on this historic win, and kudos to the entire school for a successful and well-organized festival. 🎉👏
