A NEED FOR A PROFESSIONAL HEADSHOT

In 2007, I stumbled into a post of Emeka Nobis and I instantly fell in love with his style of writing. Prior to this ‘meeting,’ I was always on the blog of Joseph Edgar but having someone on facebook to follow and directly communicate with was much better.

By observation, I discovered that there were several uniqueness in his facebook profile and one of those was his profile picture, it was professional.

Gradually, I began to connect with the friends of Emeka Nobis and I discovered also that their profile picture was also professional. Immediately, I knew this was an established pattern, one that helps the public to perceive you differently. I responded to this pattern, one that speaks volume about you when people visit your social media platforms, especially for the first time.
I have noticed that most young individuals are careless on social media. They probably see it as a place for utter entertainment but the truth is that the social media is a marketplace, where you have to be intentional to sell yourself and your products.

As an entrepreneur or career person, you must be intentional and strategic with your social media platforms and one of the starting points of the journey is to ensure that your profile picture is professional.
