CUDDLED 🐸🤎

One of my favourite subjects and scenes to photograph!

My first one this year, and I was super excited! I can say I enjoyed the action more than they did performing it 😅.

Happy 🐸!

Not a shot many will appreciate, but it's my favourite way to photograph anything snail, and I love it when the shot goes to plan.

THE OGRE 🕷️🕸️ II

Arachtober is better with an ogre.
Just like the first time, I was surprised to see this species.
I guess there could be a lot of them around here, even though Google and ChatGPT say there aren't any (or something like that).

ENDS, BEGINS 🐸🌀

Tonight, I came across one frog whose life had just ended, apparently after being hit by a passing bike.

It was a sad sight, but later that night, I found some new frogs, and one even hopped onto my hand for a closer look.

One life ends. Another begins.
Nature keeps moving. 📽️🎞️

MULTIPLE PERSONALITIES 💊🐛

I was expecting this isopod to have the same colour all through, but seeing these different colours makes me think that if this isopod were a person, she'd have multiple personalities. Right now, she's dropping her angelic (white skin) look for a more devilish one 😅.

THE OGRE 🕷️🕸️

Rare or impossible to find here, and never documented here. There's definitely someone who'll say it's common, but maybe people have just walked past them or never had a camera with them to show they've seen one before. But how would they even know when you can hardly tell what it is unless you get really close to look at it?

Super proud of this capture of the ogre-faced/net-casting spider. I'd call this a dream shot, but I never even dreamt of this, so it's best I call it the never-imagined, surprise encounter.

THE CHOSEN ONE 🐸

For every 30 likes this post gets, I'll post one of the frog photos I've been hiding because I didn't think it'd even get 30 likes.

Happy 🐸!
