OUR LOVE STORY

We met at the University of Medical Sciences, Ondo, but honestly, we didn’t start out as anything special to each other.

We weren’t in the same friend group or clique, but somehow, we were always around each other. You know when you turn around and somehow you keep seeing the same person around you, just doing their own thing? That was us.

Then one day during a practical class, he asked to copy from my work. 😂 And somehow, that became our first little point of familiarity.

After that, we randomly got talking in class, and the conversation was surprisingly interesting. We talked and discovered that we were born in the same week. At the time, we probably didn’t think much of it, but looking back now, it feels like one of those little coincidences that makes you wonder if we were always meant to meet.

Funny enough, we didn’t even start talking properly after that.

Months later, when he celebrated his birthday, we got in touch again, and this time, things were different. We became closer during the holidays, and what started as friendship slowly became something much deeper.

We just loved talking to each other. We could talk every day and somehow never run out of things to say. The conversations were easy. There was no pressure to impress each other or force anything. We just enjoyed each other’s company. We laughed together, shared things about our lives, and before we knew it, we had become best friends. And somewhere in all those conversations, friendship became love.

Over the years, we have grown so much together. We have ticked things off our bucket lists, made countless memories, celebrated each other’s wins, and stood by each other through the difficult moments too. to be cont
