I’m Delighted to be part of the Moses Bliss Graphic Challenge, and this is my official design entry for “The Mountain Experience.
This piece was intentionally crafted to visually communicate elevation, encounter, and spiritual intensity capturing the essence of a gathering centered on prayers, worship, and miracles.
From a design standpoint, I paid close attention to alignment, typography, and visual hierarchy to ensure clarity and impact:
Alignment & Structure:
The layout follows a strong central alignment system, allowing the headline and key elements to remain the primary focal point. The speakers are arranged in a balanced horizontal composition, creating unity while still giving prominence to the central figure. This structure helps guide the viewer’s eye naturally from the headline down to the event details without confusion.
Typography Choices:
I combined bold, modern sans-serif fonts for the main title (“Mountain Experience”) to convey strength and visibility, with a contrasting script-style font for the word “The” to introduce a human, expressive touch. This contrast enhances readability while adding personality to the design.
The supporting text (date, venue, and details) uses clean, minimal fonts to maintain professionalism and ensure legibility across all viewing sizes.
Font Positioning & Hierarchy:
The typographic hierarchy was carefully structured:
The event title dominates the top section for immediate recognition.
The subtitle (Prayers | Worship | Miracles) sits just below, reinforcing the theme.
Speaker names are placed strategically close to their images for clear identification.
Event details are positioned at the base, ensuring accessibility without competing with the main visuals.
Spacing and proportion were also key—each text block was given enough breathing space to avoid clutter while maintaining a cohesive flow.
Overall, the goal was to create a design that not only looks visually appealing but also communicates purpose, clarity, and spiritual atmosphere at first glance.
