At the 2026 Omor New Yam Festival (Ịwa Ji), tradition unfolded through royal processions, ancestral symbols, ceremonial regalia, music, community and the unmistakable presence of the Igbo spirit.

Under the leadership of HRH Igwe Dr. Oranu Chris Chidume, Eze Ana-Ukwu, Eze Igulube of Omor, Eze Ana-Ukwu the people of Omor gathered to celebrate harvest, give thanks and honour a culture carried from one generation to the next.
