Purpose and Function:

Training of Prophets:

Discernment of True and False Prophets:

A key function was to distinguish between genuine prophets who spoke God's word and false prophets, which was crucial for the community's well-being.

ABANDON YOUR FAITH OR DIE": The Religious Persecution Crisis Nigeria's Leaders Won't Address 🇳🇬💔

ISWAP terrorists burned down a Christian village in Adamawa State, Nigeria, threatening that all Christians are "legitimate targets" and must convert to Islam or pay the jizyah tax to "spare their blood" . This happened just days ago—homes destroyed, lives shattered, families displaced.

This is 2026. In Nigeria. Christians being told to abandon their faith or face death in their own ancestral lands.

WHERE IS PRESIDENT TINUBU?

You bought fighter jets, military equipment, increased defense budget—but when terrorists are literally burning villages and giving Christians "convert or die" ultimatums, there's deafening silence from A*o Rock. If not now, when will you deploy those jets? If not for this, what did you buy them for?

Over 14 people were killed on December 31, 2025, in attacks on Christian villages and churches in Hong Local Government . Where is the presidential address? Where is the emergency security summit? Where are African leaders condemning this religious persecution?

While politicians chase minerals and foreign investments, Nigerian citizens can't worship freely in their own country. What good is economic growth when villages are being burned because of what people believe? What good are fighter jets sitting in hangars while terrorists issue death threats with impunity?

Security isn't a political talking point—it's literally life or death. President Tinubu, African leaders, the world: YOUR SILENCE IS COMPLICITY.

5. Control vs Freedom
Religion is often enforced by those in authority to maintain, expand, or abuse an power. It is man-made and not God’s original design.

For example, when a preacher forbids dancing—despite Scripture not condemning it—he adds his rules that Jesus never endorsed. Even with good intentions, this is religion, not God.

Common religious rules added by men include:

You must not watch television
You must not use drums in worship
You must not sit beside a female in church
You must not eat or drink certain foods
Only men may wear trousers (though Jesus Himself did not)
You must avoid certain types of music
You must recite ritualistic prayers
You must earn salvation by good deeds
These are human traditions, not the MORE IS COMING

4. Basis of Judgment
In religion, man is accepted or rejected based on what he does.
In Christianity, man is accepted by God based solely on what Jesus did, not what he did for himself. Man is judged on the basis of Christ, not personal effort.

THE GIFT OF SALVATION

Beloved, God defines love by action, not words. Scripture makes this clear. John 3:16 reveals a love so deep that God gave His only Son for the world.

This love was not a reaction. It was a plan formed before humanity ever cried for help.

After Adam and Eve sinned, humanity became separated from God. Life continued, but fellowship was broken. Man became hopeless and helpless, cut off from God’s presence.

Yet God, who is love, refused to abandon His creation. Even in the garden, He spoke redemption into existence. Genesis 3:15 revealed a coming Savior

Religion is a system of beliefs and moral codes that judges, qualifies, or disqualifies a person based on adherence to rules, laws, traditions, and prescribed performances.
