"Why are you kneeling on the floor?"
"Why do you bend that way?"
“Are you seriously about to climb that?”
I get those questions *a lot.* And the truth is I get it. To an outsider, it probably looks ridiculous. One moment I’m crouching like Spider-Man, the next I’m lying flat on the floor like I’ve passed out, or I’m awkwardly balancing on a stool or stacked boxes that clearly wasn’t designed to hold a grown man with a camera. 😅
But here’s the thing: Photography isn’t just a job for me.
It’s a passion. It’s a calling. It’s how I make sense of the world and how I help others see themselves clearly.
I don’t just take pictures — I chase moments.
And the truth is, those moments aren’t always obvious. They’re hiding in the details. In the glint in someone’s eye when they’re truly laughing. In the way sunlight hits a face just right when you step three inches to the left. In the way a story changes completely when seen from a lower or higher angle.
That’s why I kneel. That’s why I climb. That’s why I twist and stretch and sometimes contort into positions that leave me sore the next day. 😂
Because *the shot matters.*
Because *you matter.*
I’ve learned over the years that people don’t just want pictures they want to be seen in a new light.
And being truly seen means stepping out of the obvious and into the unique.
Sometimes I only get one chance to capture a moment a smile, a glance, a vibe and if I have to lay on the ground or climb up high to make it count, then so be it.
Perspective is everything.
And I’ve come to realize that the way I see the world is what sets me apart. Cause photography to me, is simply telling a story from your own point of view. Its not something that is meant to be uniform.
So yes — I’m that guy in the mud, on the floor, on the edge, behind the crowd, under the chair. All in pursuit of *the frame that tells the story right.*
Here’s to every wild angle, every strange position, and every story that’s waiting to be seen from a different point of view.
