Here are 5 things I recommend before your next shoot.

Before your next photoshoot, don't just ask:

What should I wear?
Ask,
Does this outfit represent me?

Here are 5 simple tips:

1️⃣ Wear something you're comfortable in.

2️⃣ Avoid too many competing patterns.

3️⃣ Choose colours that complement your location.

4️⃣ Iron/prepare your clothes before the shoot.

5️⃣ Bring an extra outfit if possible.
Remember, the goal isn't necessarily to wear the most expensive clothes. It's to look and feel confident. 📸

DON'T ZOOM YOUR PHONE CAMERA

"Your phone can take a good pictures not best pictures tho. but please stop doing THIS. 😂📱"

If you're using your phone to take pictures, avoid excessive digital zoom.
When you zoom too much, your picture can lose detail and become blurry.

Instead:
📱 Move closer to your subject when possible.

📱 Clean your camera lens before shooting.

📱 Use good lighting.

📱 Tap your subject to focus.

📱 Keep your phone steady.

You don't always need an expensive camera to create a good picture.

You don't need to be a model to take great pictures.

One of the easiest ways to look more natural is to keep your body moving slightly instead of freezing in one position.

Try:
➡️ Walking slowly

➡️ Looking away from the camera

➡️ Adjusting your clothes

➡️ Touching your hair

➡️ Turning your body slightly

➡️ Looking over your shoulder

The goal isn't always to "pose."

Stop Making This Photography Mistake

"Please, stop standing directly under harsh sunlight when taking outdoor pictures. 😭📸"

One common mistake I see in outdoor photography is taking pictures under very harsh midday sunlight.

It can create:
❌ Hard shadows on the face
❌ Squinting eyes
❌ Unflattering skin tones
❌ Overexposed areas
Instead, look for open shade or softer light.
Sometimes moving just a few steps can completely change the quality of your picture.

Photography is about understanding light, not just owning a camera.
