I would like to borrow the words of Socrates where he said: "an unexamined life is not worth living". This is for the rulers of this government that have thrown Nigerians into a poverty stricken plight. Selfishness has poisoned our minds and corruption has become our best policy. I find it exasperating how the previous government was full of maladministration and zabernism. Having gone through these eight years of hunger, Nigerians wanted a change and here we are situations becoming worse. From things being expensive to people being abducted. Yet, we are still folding our hands and watching things happen. Our greatest enemy is "fear" and we will have to conquer it. We must fight for our rights and claim our worth.
If we export crude oil and still import it,
If the rich would take their children abroad to study to avoid delaying them,
If foreigners would build factories in our own country and still employ us,
If embezzlement is the only priority in politics,
ARE WE INDEPENDENT?
