Gov Uba Sani Celebrates Nasir El-Rufai On 65th Birthday

Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to his predecessor, His Excellency, Malam Nasir El-Rufai, CON, on the occasion of his 65th birthday.

In a statement, Governor Sani described El-Rufai as a dear brother and friend, acknowledging his contributions to the state and the nation.

He also offered prayers for Almighty Allah’s continued guidance, protection, and strength for the former governor.

"I wish to extend my heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to my dear brother, friend and predecessor, His Excellency, Malam Nasir El-Rufai CON on the occasion of his 65th birthday. I pray the Almighty Allah to continue to guide, protect and strengthen His Excellency," he wrote.

EXTENDED POWER OUTAGE IN KADUNA STATE

Kaduna State Government has noted with concern, the recent power outage in Kaduna State that has significant impact on the social and economic activities of the Residents in the State due to the industrial actions related to Labour disputes at the Kaduna Electricity Distribution Company (KAEDCO).

Consequently, the Kaduna State Governor, His Excellency, Senator Uba Sani has communicated with the Chairman of the Board of Kaduna Electric and raised his concern over the disruption of power supply and further expressed his desire that this industrial action should be resolved forthwith. Kaduna Electric have given His Excellency, the Governor, the assurance that the issue will be over soon and supply will be restored back to the Residents.

While Residents are urged to exercise calm and be vigilant as miscreants may take advantage of these challenging times to cause mayhem and vandalism of public infrastructure, all parties involved are therefore implored to work expeditiously towards finding amicable ways of resolving the dispute, so as to restore the much-needed power supply services to the Residence of the State and beyond.
