Today marks one agonizing month since I lost my Dad. The ache within me feels like an open wound. Grief has become a lifelong journey, and every day, I struggle to accept your absence.
Your unconditional love for us was unparalleled. Your passing shattered our world, yet your memory remains vivid in my heart. I often find myself thinking, ‘Zanje in kwana wajen yaya’ or ‘Wannan na yaya ne.’ Your presence lingers in my thoughts, prayers, and dreams.
As a father to a whole community you were selfless, kind, and loving. Your guidance shaped me into who I am today. Though grief threatens to overwhelm me, I find solace in knowing we’ll reunite in Jannatul Firdaus.
You lived a remarkable life serving Allah and humanity. May Allah Azza wa Jalla elevate you to the highest rank in Jannatul Firdaus.
Yaya, I miss you dearly. Your absence feels like losing a part of myself, like the earth shifting beneath me.
O Allah, forgive yaya and elevate his station among those who are guided. Send him along the path of those who came before, and forgive us and him, Ya rabbul samawati wal ardi. Enlarge for him his grave and shed light upon him in it.
