Lately, I've seen more professionals returning to public secondary schools, especially to engage students in the sciences. It gives me hope.
Then the question comes up again: Is education really a scam?
From where I stand behind the camera at Unyc Events Photography, my answer is no.
For years, we've photographed graduations, science exhibitions, debates, seminars, award ceremonies, and countless school events. Through our lens, we've watched young minds discover their confidence, celebrate achievements, and dare to dream bigger.
Every event reminds us of one thing: education still changes lives.
A certificate alone may not guarantee success, but the knowledge, discipline, curiosity, relationships, and opportunities that education provides can shape a future.
That is why every school event deserves to be remembered. Today's student presenting a science project could become tomorrow's engineer. The young girl receiving an academic award today could become the researcher who solves a problem our generation couldn't.
At Unyc, we don't just take pictures. We preserve the beginning of stories that are still being written.
Let's stop telling our children that education is a scam. Instead, let's work together to make education more practical, more inspiring, and more connected to the future they deserve.
Believe in education. Believe in our young people. Their next chapter may be the one that changes the world.
