It was another huge celebration of culture, tradition and unity as Governor Biodun Oyebanji joined His Imperial Majesty, Oba Rufus Adeyemo Adejugbe Aladesanmi III, the Ewi of Ado-Ekiti and sons and daughters of Ado for this year’s Udiroko festival, earlier today.
The colourful event held at the Ewi Palace, Ado-Ekiti, was attended by the Deputy Governor, Chief (Mrs) Monisade Afuye; dignitaries from different walks of life and Ado indigenes in colourful apparels.
Aside identifying with the Ado sons and daughters in celebrating their foremost cultural festival, HE BAO gave an indication on his administration’s plan to elevate cultural festivals to drive tourism and economic development.
