Today’s engagements served as a compelling reminder that the work of governance achieves its highest impact when public leadership, anchored in an attentive posture, converges with strategic collaboration, cultural influence, and global engagement.
I had the pleasure of receiving Bakare Mubarak Founder of BILARTERAL, and his team, following an impactful international mission across Atlanta, Alabama, and New York - an effort strengthened by the Office’s involvement and by the organization’s strong credibility within the international creative ecosystem. The mission further amplified Nigeria’s voice in critical global conversations around culture, creativity, and innovation.
The second engagement was of equal significance: a meeting with Khalid Ahmed, and members of the creative team behind Nigerian Idol, whose production recently earned the prestigious recognition of “Best Unscripted M-Net Original” at the 12th Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards.
Day after day, year after year, one of the greatest rewards of my role has been the opportunity to engage with Nigerian creatives, innovators, and cultural leaders whose work continues to redefine Africa’s narrative with boldness and brilliance.
From the inception of this office, it has remained my privilege to be part of the work of creatives, whether through facilitation, collaboration, advocacy, or diplomatic engagement.
