​Looking back through my archives and wanted to share this favorite!
​This was captured back in May 2023, and it remains one of my personal favorite moments behind the lens. There is nothing quite like the way the fading sunset light hits the water, surrounding the flamingos in pure gold.
​It’s a great reminder of why I love being out there capturing our local landscape and wildlife—just waiting for that split second where the sky, the water, and nature completely align.

There’s a strange beauty in the stillness, like the calm before a storm or the quiet of the night. Looking back now, it represents a strength we didn’t know we had.
