They call it the “Celestial Mountains,” but it feels more like stepping into another world. 🇰🇬✨

From the wind-sculpted silence of Ak-Sai Canyon to the rhythmic beat of nomadic life in the high-altitude jailoos, Kyrgyzstan is a masterclass in raw, untouched beauty. There are no guardrails here—just endless horizons, the smell of woodsmoke in a yurt, and the kind of light that every photographer dreams of.

This isn’t just a destination; it’s a feeling. A reminder of what the earth looked like before we paved over it. 🏔️🐎

My top 2025 photos

To be honest, 2025 was a massive reality check. It was my first full year of being self-employed, and I quickly realized that “freedom and flexibility” come with a much higher price tag than I ever expected. With everything falling squarely on my shoulders, I definitely fell behind on my goals for YouTube and keeping up with my content. It’s a tough pill to swallow, but when you’re the boss, there’s no one else to point at when things don’t go to plan—I only have myself to blame for not rising to the occasion.

But looking back, it wasn’t all bad. The biggest win was spending our first full year as a married couple with my beautiful and cute wife. Plus, we finally got the house completely finished, and we managed to unlock some incredible new countries and memories along the way. Those are the moments that made the grind worth it.

For 2026, I’m making a serious promise to myself. It’s time to show up, post more regularly, and really push to be a better photographer and creator. I know there are people out there who think me working alone just won’t work, but I’m going to prove them wrong. Some might think that without the company I had nowhere to shine, but the truth is I’m already shining brighter with every day that passes. When you look at me now, I’m already far brighter than I ever was with them. Everything lies on me now, and I’m ready to chase more trips and better shots.

PS: scroll to last shot on how i feel about work.

(5/5) The last one of the big 5. 🐆🌿 The leopard, a true symbol of grace and stealth, is one of Africa’s most elusive predators. Known for their powerful muscles and incredible agility, leopards are excellent climbers and often rest in trees to avoid predators. 🌍

Extremely lucky to be able not once, not twice but three times during this Kenya trip. Been here for the 4th time and have not seen a leopard yet until the last day of this trip.

Seeing the leopard gracefully sleeping above the tree and one more posing for a photoshoot along a cliff. Truly majestic and magical!

(4/5) 🦁👑 The lion, often called the “King of the Jungle,” is one of the most powerful animals in Africa. Lions live in prides, with each member having a specific role, creating a well-organized social structure. 🌍

Unlike most big cats, lions are highly social animals. Female lions do most of the hunting, while males protect the pride. They communicate through roars that can be heard up to 5 miles away! 🎶

Fun fact! Lions are the only cats that live in groups, and their roar can serve as a warning to other lions or potential threats, helping them maintain their territory.

PS: That lion is winking to me!!

(3/5) 🦏🌿 The rhino is one of Africa’s most formidable creatures, known for its thick skin and impressive horn. Despite their size and strength, rhinos are often shy and prefer solitude. 🌍

We are lucky to encounter a herd of 10 white rhinos at Lake Nakuru. They are so cute from a distance. The next day we are even lucky to see a black rhino roaming around. However, they are very far away. Good thing is to have a good long telephoto lens or a binoculus.

Rhinos have very poor eyesight, but an exceptional sense of smell and hearing. They use their sharp senses to detect danger from far away. 👃👂

The horn of a rhino is made of keratin, the same material as human hair and nails, and they can grow up to 3 inches per year!

(2/5) 🐘✨ The African elephant is one of the most iconic creatures of the “Big 5.” These magnificent animals can weigh up to 6,000 kg and have trunks that can pick up objects as heavy as 350 kg! 🌍

Elephants are known for their incredible memory. They can remember water sources and paths, and even recognize other elephants they’ve met years ago! 🧠

Elephants use their trunks for a wide range of activities, from picking up food and drinking to greeting others in their herd. They even use it to express emotions, like when they trumpet in excitement or distress!

🦬💪 The buffalo is a true powerhouse of the “Big 5.” Known for its strength and resilience, these creatures can weigh up to 1,500 pounds and have horns that span up to 40 inches! 🌍

Unlike most herd animals, buffaloes have one of the most intricate social structures. They live in tightly-knit groups where individuals show remarkable cooperation. They even have a specific way of communicating, using grunts, snorts, and tail movements! 🌱

Buffaloes are often considered one of the most dangerous animals in Africa, not because they hunt, but because they fiercely defend their herd when threatened. They’ve been known to charge at lions and other predators, showing just how tough they really are!

Discover the legendary Big 5 of Africa — right here in the heart of Kenya. 🐘🦁🦬🐆🦏
Once known as the most dangerous animals to hunt on foot, the “Big Five” now represent the ultimate wildlife sightings for any safari traveler. Kenya, with its world-renowned reserves like Maasai Mara and Amboseli, offers one of the best chances to encounter all five in their natural habitat.

The lion, often called the king of the savannah, commands attention with its majestic presence and powerful roar. Elephants roam gracefully across Kenya’s open plains, their intelligence and strong family bonds making them a favorite among visitors. The Cape buffalo may not look threatening at first, but its unpredictable nature and raw power earn it a well-deserved spot on the list. Leopards are elusive and elegant, known for their stealth and beauty — often seen resting in the shade of an acacia tree. And then there’s the rhino, a rare and powerful creature whose survival depends on continued conservation efforts, especially in protected areas like Lake Nakuru and Ol Pejeta.

I consider myself incredibly lucky to have witnessed all five in one trip — a rare privilege that many dream of. Each sighting felt surreal, from spotting a leopard lounging in a tree to quietly observing rhinos grazing in the distance. It’s an experience that left me humbled, amazed, and more in love with the wild beauty of Kenya. 🌍

Alaçatı feels like a quiet exhale — where time slows down and beauty lives in the little things. Narrow cobblestone streets lined with bougainvillea, stone houses with colorful shutters, and the soft clink of teacups from nearby cafés. There’s a kind of stillness here that’s not empty — it’s full of character, light, and texture.

Every corner offered a frame worth pausing for: dogs lounging in sunlit doorways, locals chatting beneath vine-covered terraces, and soft sea breezes moving through the air like a whisper. The town doesn’t ask to be photographed — it simply is. Calm, effortless, and endlessly charming.
