They’re growing up right in front of you… a little more independent, a little more sure of themselves, but still very much your little one.

Before they grow into the next chapter, keep a little piece of this one.

Because one day, you’ll look back and realise just how quickly this age passed.

✨There’s a little phase when she still truly believes in princesses.

The dresses, the castles, the magic to her, it’s all real.

To walk into a castle.
To wear the dress.
To have a story of her own.
To believe, just for that afternoon, that anything is possible.

And honestly, that’s the part we love most about photographing little girls at this age.

Pretend play isn’t “just playing”. It gives children room to imagine, make up stories, take on different roles and express themselves.

So when she looks back at these photographs years from now, we hope she doesn’t only see a pretty dress.

She sees the little girl who believed she could be a princess.

Because childhood doesn’t stay this magical forever.

9 years old is such an underrated milestone.

This is often the age where confidence grows, personalities become stronger, and conversations become more meaningful. It’s also one of the last seasons before life starts changing quickly.

When photographing children around this age, we focus less on asking them to pose and more on creating moments where they can simply be themselves… with family, with siblings, and with the people who make them feel safe.

Years from now, these photographs won’t just show what they looked like.

They’ll remind you exactly who they were.
