Global Impact: Retro Havoc 2026.

The Street Staff team made our way to the 11th Annual Retro Havoc at The Curve, and the energy was just unreal. This isn't just a local gathering anymore; pulling in worldwide media coverage, this event has officially cemented Malaysia's spot on the global car culture map.

We spent the day hunting for random snaps, and the variety on display was absolutely insane. It was a massive melting pot of automotive subcultures—from screaming supercars and classic J-Tin, to aggressive rat rods, pristine vintage rides, and top-tier MDM and Conti builds. It didn’t matter what your flavor was, the standard out here was pushed to the absolute limit.

Midnight Maroon: The Silvia S15.

When we talk about the local JDM scene here in Sabah, it’s builds like this that really set the standard. Spotted at the recent parking lot gathering, this Nissan Silvia S15 immediately caught our attention with its deep, glossy maroon finish and aggressive street presence.

The ex*****on on this widebody setup is just next level. From the massive rear diffuser and sharp front aero, right down to the perfectly fitted deep-dish bronze wheels, every detail screams pure attitude. It’s a flawless mix of show-quality paintwork and track-inspired style.

Underground Shine: The Bezza.

It’s always refreshing to see local platforms getting the full stance treatment. Spotted down in the parking lot, this Perodua Bezza takes the everyday commuter and turns it into a serious neck-breaker, proving that with the right vision, any chassis can stand out.

The fitment on this build is dialed in perfectly. Sitting inches off the ground, the chrome multi-spoke wheels tuck neatly under the arches, complementing the deep black paint. Accented with subtle underglow, it brings a touch of that classic street vibe to a modern Malaysian favorite.

Lowrider Lines: The LS400.

Taking a step back into the golden era of VIP sedans, but with a twist you don't see every day. Spotted locally, this Lexus LS400 (Toyota Celsior) breaks away from the traditional clean VIP look and dives straight into custom lowrider-style paintwork that demands a second look.

The dedication to this build is wild. The intricate, hand-painted teal patterns layered over the dark base coat transform this big body sedan into a rolling canvas. Sitting on a set of aggressive, modern multi-spoke wheels, it’s a bold mix of Japanese luxury and west coast lowrider culture that somehow works perfectly.

Dark Stance: The Terios Build.

When we think of a Perodua Kembara or Daihatsu Terios, we usually picture a standard daily driver or a standard weekend ride. But this blacked-out unit right here completely changes the game. Spotted at the recent auto show, it’s a perfect example of thinking outside the box and building something truly unique.

It’s not every day you see a compact SUV slammed to the ground with this much attitude. The main highlight is definitely those massive, deep-dish wheels with an aggressive offset and stretched tires. The owner even went all out by mounting a matching deep-dish wheel on the rear spare mount! Paired with clean JDM Daihatsu Terios styling cues, this build proves that stance culture truly has no limits.
