📍 Lake Kaindy

The tour with .asia took us to a location, change of transport (off-road car), through small streams of water and stones up the hill. Boy, it was a bumpy ride. Before we reached, we were given 3 options:
1️⃣ horse ride to destination - if not mistaken this was the fastest option
2️⃣ car ride to destination - second fastest option
3️⃣ walk to destination - slowest option

I ain’t walking. So the only option was horse or car. We were on an adventure! We all end up choosing horse except for 1 person in our group who was scared. With some encouragement, and to join the group, we all did horse.

I thought there’s a guide to every horse, so someone will be pulling each horse. They’d need like 7 or more people then for each of us. So once I climbed on the horse and settle, waited and out of no where (to my horror) the horses started moving on command! What command? Whistle by the guide (1 person) there 😱

Definitely 🐴 was the way to go because it really was a lifetime adventure! Rocky ride, like a rollercoaster at times and it was a whole lot of fun.

Will I do it again? Yes!

This was also my first snow on the ground - like ice kacang. It was so pretty I was mesmerised!

And the lake Kaindy view, it was also very mesmerising and beautiful 😍

📍 Charyn Canyon

We took on a day tour with .asia . First stop of the tour after the 5am gathering was Charyn Canyon. Weather was very nice and cool. Too bad we didn’t walk down, else I think it’d be very nice too. Need proper shoes!

A hike up the hill, just in time for a beautiful sunset view. These pictures don’t do justice on what we saw with our eyes. It was SOOOO beautiful!

Kota Kinabalu, Sabah - June 2025.

Travelled there to attend a wedding and while we were there, we went for a day trip to Kundasang and Mari Mari Village tour.

📍 Akara Sky Hanuman, Bangkok

Beautiful views and reflection set up for pictures at the rooftop (level 58) of the city. Day pass (1,000 baht) includes a drink or dessert.

There’s more deck and restaurant opened in the evening/night. Maybe more worth the visit in the evening/night!
