Curated by a small team of photography specialists, we are a quaint studio space with the aim to preserve and nurture the love for photography in Malaysia. Situated in Petaling Jaya’s nostalgic district of Taman Paramount, our space is a one-stop haven for photography in its physical form. Inside, you’ll find a bookshop, a library of rare, out-of-print, and signed photography books, an event space

for creative gatherings and showcase, and a film lab and dark room where we work closely with photographers to hand process film stock to bring their visions to life. Online, you'll find articles of various themes on the topic of photography and an expanding archive catalogue of Malaysian photobooks. We strive to be a community platform for photography enthusiasts to come together, build connections and encourage each other in their photographic practice. By conducting various workshops, exhibition events and talks, we hope to cultivate appreciation and discussions surrounding the topic of photography.

At Zontiga, we believe photographs deserve to be printed, sequenced, edited and published.

Since 2023, we’ve worked with photographers, writers, editors and designers to produce books and publications that preserve stories, celebrate different voices and create a lasting record of our time.

Every title becomes part of a growing catalogue that we hope people will return to years from now.

It’s been a while since our last Charmera photowalk in February, and we‘re heading back into the city, this time with a distinctly Y2K twist.

Join us for a morning photowalk through Bukit Bintang with the Kodak Charmera Millennium Edition, a tiny keychain camera inspired by the early digital era.

We’ll wander through the city chasing reflections, colours, retro signage, and moments that feel straight out of the Y2K era. Whether you’re carrying the Millennium Edition or another Kodak Charmera, you’re welcome to join.

Come dressed in your favourite Y2K-inspired fit if you’d like. We’ll end the morning over coffee, sharing photos, stories, and moments from the walk.
