RAF Northolt Nighshoot March 2026. The Dassault Falcon 10MER from the French will retire soon so nice to have the opportunity to photograph it. The UK army Wildcat was the only mover on the night and the London Air Ambulance had both their Airbus H135 out on display

The Waglers Pit Viper - as dangerous as it beautiful. This one had recently eaten and was in no hurry to move along. It never showed any aggression toward me, but I was always mindful to move slowly and not get too close.

Most of the time wildlife photography means capturing the image and then looking at it on the computer sometime later. Today I was lucky to have a Waglers Pit Viper close to where I’m working so could edit the shots while still admiring this beautiful, albeit extremely venomous, snake. It fed last night and it will probably be a while before it needs to eat again.

Major Maciej “Slab” Krakowian from the Polish Air Force F-16 “Tiger Demo” put on one the finest displays of the 2023 Radom airshow, and again this year at RIAT 2025 his display was voted the best.

Sadly he lost his life during Radom airshow 2025 rehearsal yesterday evening. RIP. 🇵🇱

Black skimmers take to the air in a confusing flurry of black white and orange. Skimmers are unique in having a longer lower bill which they use to catch tiny fish in shallow water. This was taken a while ago in Florida, and sadly I suspect this area has been badly hit with the two recent hurricanes.
