I was in Miri for a very, very short trip. We stopped by a CNY Bazaar after our shoot, which turned out to be a mini food fair in Miri Timesquare. I actually planned to drop by the ones in Kuching before CNY, but unfortunately, I just couldn't find time.

Sunset Stillness

Sunset feels mythical. The golden hour is fleeting, yet breathtaking — light softens, colors melt, and the world exhales.

Sunrise or Sunset?

Someone once asked me which I prefer. I paused to think — because truthfully, I love both.

Sunrise carries a quiet magic. It energizes you, like nature’s gentle nudge to begin again. There's something sacred about watching the world wake up.

But sunset… sunset feels mythical. The golden hour is fleeting, yet breathtaking. This series of sunset snaps reminds me why I’m drawn to it — the way light softens, the way colors melt into each other.

It’s therapeutic, especially after a long day. You slow down, breathe, and let the beauty of dusk cradle you. You recharge. You rest. Even if the day didn’t go as planned, sunset offers a quiet promise: tomorrow is yours to try again.

That’s why sunset will always hold a special place in my heart.

The Half Marathon for Sarawak Energy Isthmus Run flagged off at 4am last week. Despite having slept for only 2+ hours, I still show up in town, at a pre-planned spot.

This time, I wasn't there for official duty. Instead, I was there for few of my friends who participated in that category. My spot is about KM9-KM10 for HM and FM. I was expecting the leading pack to show up about 40minutes after flag off.

And, true enough, they were on time. For this one, I was undecided how my actual set up was. In the end I decided to just go with EF 70-200mm f/2.8L and RF 50mm f/1.4L as my lens choice, and to do without flash set up. It's more for run and gun, as I plan to shift to location #2 nearby.

Enough said, here are few of my personal favorite.
