🌿 Last Day at Rainforest World Music Festival 2025 🎵

Can’t believe it’s the last day and what a journey it’s been!
Caught a unique and raw street-style performance by Seppuku Pistols from Japan 🇯🇵 simple, bold, and unforgettable.
Then had the chance to learn and try the powerful Māori dance with none other than Rob Ruha himself! 🌀

The rhythm kept flowing with Buloh Berkocak delivering not just one, but two amazing sets a Bamboo Band showcase and an infectious fusion of Afro-Colombian beats!

And to end it all pure magic. The stage belonged to At Adau, blending traditional Bornean soul with experimental vibes that echoed through the rainforest. A perfect finale to a festival that’s all about connection, culture, and sound beyond borders.

☘️Day 2 Vibes – Rainforest World Music Festival 2025🎶

What a day full of rhythm, roots, and culture! Started my morning getting hands-on with traditional instruments it’s a whole new world learning how sound connects us all. Then tried some traditional games and activities with other festival-goers super fun and meaningful!

As the sun set, the stage lit up with powerful Māori music, PopRoots, reggae and R&B soul from the incredible Rob Ruha And when the night hit it turned into a funky, soul-filled groove party with Earth, Wind & Fire vibes: R&B, funk, pop disco, and progressive soul that had the whole crowd dancing under the stars! 💃🏽🕺🏽

Feeling the magic of culture and music in every beat.

My first time here and I’m already blown away! From traditional beats to modern rhythms, witnessing performers from all over the world share their culture and music in the heart of the Borneo rainforest is an experience I’ll never forget~

So much energy, so much diversity, and I’m loving every moment of it! Can’t wait for what Day 2 brings~

A hidden gem that heals the soul tucked in Kampung Jantan, Lundu, just 93 km from Kuching, this majestic 7 storey high waterfall can be spotted from afar on the Lundu-Sematan road.

To truly feel its magic, you’ll need a guide and about 45 minute of jungle trekking from the village, but every step is worth it.

Stand at its base. Breathe in the mist. Let go of the noise.
Nature is the best therapy.
