South Georgia pintail duck.
The only duck known to live and breed regularly in the sub-Antarctic region. Found exclusively on the remote island of South Georgia and its surrounding archipelago, this hardy bird is considered one of the toughest ducks on the planet. They are specially adapted for cold, windy conditions.

Banded broadbill, a very beautiful bird. Lucky to have seen and recorded it in the forest of Borneo. Like japanese sweet potato deep purplish-red with bold yellow patches on the wings and tail. Absolutely stunning to look at.
