South Georgia pintail duck.
The only duck known to live and breed regularly in the sub-Antarctic region. Found exclusively on the remote island of South Georgia and its surrounding archipelago, this hardy bird is considered one of the toughest ducks on the planet. They are specially adapted for cold, windy conditions.
