‘All about analog film.’ by Kelvin Eng

Film, with its indelible spirit, represents a pure initial intention and a deep sense of emotion. Seemingly meaningless shots, are traces left by life. These seemingly useless photos, may seem like a waste of time, a waste of life. But for me, they are oxygenating my soul.

Shooting it’s simply about ‘seeing’, allowing the photograph to touch the freedom of photography, like a cloud, drifting even when no one is watching. The moment I press the shutter is the moment I feel life is interesting. What I photograph superficially appears to be what I photograph, but actually, it seems driven by some force.

Photography is about feeling, feeling the existence of nature, the existence of freedom, the existence of oneself. Conscious, casual, spontaneous…

Everyday is so beautiful.
