Same location. Different day. A heartbreaking difference. Here's the wider view.

The first clip was filmed during the Merdeka countdown in Kuala Lumpur on 31 August 2026, when the skyline was clear and the city was glowing. The second was filmed just a few days ago, from the exact same spot in Ampang.

The only thing that changed? The haze.

When will this finally end? I've been witnessing the same haze season every year since I was a kid, and it's frustrating that we're still dealing with this.

How many more years do we have to live with this before something changes?

What a difference time and gross negligence can make. The first part of this video was shot during the Merdeka countdown at Petronas Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur on 31st August 2026. The 2nd part was shot just yesterday. Both were shot from the exact same location in Ampang.

When will this be over? It's been the same thing every single year since I was a kid.

Have you ever seen KL from this angle?

From high up in Genting Highlands, the entire Kuala Lumpur skyline lines up in one incredible view — Merdeka 118, KL Tower, the Petronas Twin Towers and TRX Exchange 106, all sitting together in the distance.

On a clear day, the view is absolutely insane. And once this haze clears up, I’m definitely coming back for another shot. 📸

KL really does know how to show off.

Bahrain Grand Prix: Race Day

My 3rd day at Sepang International Circuit celebrating the return of F1 in Malaysia. Well, sort of I guess.

It was a particularly wet race today. A nunber of the driver struggled to get used to a wet track. Even the cars had some trouble adapting.

Today I was at the hillstand area under the hot sun! But hey, the view and the action was worth it! 🏎️

Did you guys mange to go today? Yesterday... well, by now everyone's heard of how it ended yesterday. But today went well! Getting on the bus did not take 3 hours this time 😅

Welcoming F1 back to Sepang International Circuit!

After 9 years, the unmistakable roaring sound of Formula 1 cars are back in Sepang. This time hosting the Bahrain Grand Prix. Yeah, it does sound a little weird 😅
