How long should you book for a restaurant menu shoot? Start with the menu size — then allow for how quickly the kitchen can prepare and plate each dish.

Planning guide:
• Around 10 dishes/photos — ~2 hours, RM788
• Around 20 — ~4 hours, RM1,399
• Around 40–50 — ~8 hours, RM2,799

These are estimates, not guaranteed photo counts. Group shots and more complex setups also take longer than single-dish images.

The finished photos can be planned for your menu, GrabFood/Foodpanda, website and social media.

Planning a restaurant menu refresh? Choose the shoot length around the size of the menu, not just the number of posts you need.

As a practical guide, around 20 dishes/photos may suit a 4-hour session at RM1,399, while a larger 40–50 dish/photo menu may be better planned as an 8-hour session at RM2,799. Actual output depends on food preparation, styling and setup speed, so these are planning estimates rather than fixed guarantees.
