Shot on iPhone, Underwater

My first ever Manta Ray encounter. I knew I had to make an “ad” for this magical experience 😂😂

It felt like an An225 cargo plane flying right above you, so friggin graceful AND HUGEEEEE!

All captured with my iPhone 13 Pro Max safely protected with the Divevolk Global SeaTouch 4 Max underwater touchscreen housing. The slim overall footprint enabled me to be stealthy so that we won’t overwhelm the Manta.

Uploaded that moment straight onto stories while I was heading back on the boat!

Penang’s always got a special place in my heart, not exactly sure why?

Could it be because it always feels so blissful and magical? Maybe it’s the history, maybe it’s the old buildings, maybe it’s the speed of life that’s there. Maybe it’s because I could stare far into the distance whenever I want to at a shore nearby.

Would I ever leave KL for Penang? I probably would. I miss it.

We love longer items, the longer then lens, the longer the range ain’t it? Hahaha

We used the Laowa Probe lens to get them close up shots of them trees I MEAN matchsticks. So the view would look like a drone flying through a jungle.

THROWBACK! To an old video!

Okay let’s take a small break from Nespresso and Time Magazine posts for a short while 🤣. Time for something funny.

We made this for back in 2017 for their Hari Raya promo. Obviously we tiru-ed a chunk of the idea from hehehe.

We found a random kampung near our office (literally across a lake from our office back then) and shot it there.

Still remember the team and I were laughing our asses off while we were writing the stupid lyrics and during the whole entire edit 🤣 too much fun.

Thanks to the actors for their hard work under the hot sun, and recording of the rap verse back in the studio! Y’all did an amazing job, loving the boom box guy.

Crazy month! grateful and honoured to be part of yet another project with burning art pieces! But this time, it is for Magazine 😎. Here’s the full video + behind the scenes footage of what went down!

Filming this definitely had it’s pressures, it is a ONE CHANCE ONE SHOT thing, no retakes!��Good thing is we’ve done something similar to this before bout 2 years ago in Sabah with our “BURN” project with , made a few mistakes and learnt from it!

From my end, I learnt that we should get many static cameras to capture different close up and wide shots to be pieced together in the final edit.
Hence you see all the cameras there hahaha!

≈❑ Our First Award Winning Video ❒≈

Representing Malaysia, our 2022 SUKMA Sabah Bidding Video has been awarded as the Grand Winner of the 2020 NYX Video Awards by IAA. Certainly one of the most memorable & meaningful projects of 2019.

The video celebrates Sabah's pride, nature, culture & sportsmanship as it takes us from the jungle to the city, to the competition ground where these athletes compete and show their strengths and talents.

Coincidently it also represents what we strongly believe in: "Celebrating Life & Humanity". It's what we believe drives great storytelling & a great working experience with our collaborators & clients.

Absolutely honoured and thankful to work with the folks at Ideology Design Studio, UnitGrafik Kbss & Our Youth & Sports Minister YB Phoong Jin Zhe（冯晋哲） for making this possible, as well as all our crews members & athelets who had put so much time and effort in their performance during our shoot.
