YES Buhay pa naman po ako... nag-eedit lang ako para may pandagdag sa sustento sa anak bukod sa pagpapa-alila sa korporasyon dito sa Malaysia. Yung iba dyan ang daming pera, ayaw magsustento sa anak. Charing! 🤣 HAHAHAHA!

Malay ko ba naman kung anong rason nila Patrick Garcia at Paolo Contis kung bat ayaw nila magsuntento! Pag di ako busy, magkwento ako about sa experience ko about "sustento" kahit wala namang nagtatanong. HAHAHA!

Thank you Grace Filipino Ministries - Malaysia for trusting me to document this special celebration. It was a pleasure being there and capturing the different moments throughout the day, from the worship and performances to the messages, fellowship, group photos, and of course, all the fun in between.

I'm really glad I got the opportunity to preserve these memories for the group. Hopefully these photos will give everyone something to look back on and remember this celebration by.

Congratulations once again to everyone at Grace Filipino Ministries, and thank you again for having me!

Gawa muna tayo pera para may pambayad kurinti at pambili ng pagkain ng mga posa!!

Ito yung ilan sa mga bagay (sa tingin ko) na hindi nauunawaan ng mga taong nagsasabi o nag-iisip na: "PINDOT PINDOT LANG NAMAN YAN!"

1. Hindi libre ang gamit.
Camera, lenses, batteries, memory cards, bags, lights, microphones, tripods at kung anu-ano pang accessories. Hindi yan kasama sa libreng trial version ng buhay.

2. Hindi libre ang kuryente.
Yung computer na pang-edit, monitor, chargers, aircon habang nag-e-edit... lahat yan may ambag sa kuryente.

3 Hindi libre ang storage.
Memory cards, SSDs, hard drives at cloud storage. Lalo na kapag ilang daang GB ang nauuwi sa isang shoot.

4. Hindi "kuha lang" ang trabaho.
May preparation bago ang event. Check ng gear, batteries, memory cards, settings, location, schedule at kung anu-ano pa.

5. Hindi natatapos sa pag-click ng shutter.
Pagkatapos ng shoot, may culling, backup, sorting, editing, color grading, exporting at uploading.

6. May oras na kinakain.
Yung 2-hour event na nakikita nila, hindi ibig sabihin 2 hours lang ang ginugol mo sa trabaho.

7. May maintenance at depreciation.
Camera at lenses hindi immortal. May cleaning, repairs, replacement, accessories at eventually, upgrades.

8. Kailangan mong matutong gamitin ang gamit mo.
Hindi porke may mahal kang camera, automatic maganda na ang kuha. Kailangan pa rin ng experience, lighting, composition, exposure, audio, editing at problem-solving.

9. May gastos sa pagpunta sa trabaho.
Gasolina, toll, parking, Grab, pagkain at kung minsan accommodation. Hindi tayo nagte-teleport papunta sa event.

10. At higit sa lahat, oras at effort ang binebenta mo.
Hindi lang yung pagpindot ng shutter ang trabaho.
Binabayaran mo yung oras, experience, gamit, preparation, creativity at kakayahang mag-produce ng output na kailangan ng client.

Kaya oo... PINDOT PINDOT LANG. 😏

Pero bago ka makapindot, may gastos. Pagkatapos mong pumindot, may trabaho. At bago ka makauwi, may bills ka pang kailangang bayaran.

I told myself I'll do this employee engagement event "Straight out of the camera" but here I am... editing while the rest of the world is already sleeping. 😁 Don't get me wrong, I enjoy this process but it's time consuming... hopefully I'd be able to nail it SOOC one of these days.
