Exploring Toledo 🇪🇸✨🌞

Throwback to 2016, when I was living in Spain to learn Spanish 🇪🇸📚 One of my most memorable adventures was exploring Toledo, a city like no other 💛✨

Toledo is truly a city of history and culture. Known as the “City of Three Cultures,” its most influential period was during the Middle Ages (roughly the 8th to 15th centuries), when Christians, Jews, and Muslims lived side by side 🤝✨ shaping the city’s architecture, art, and identity 🎨

In the first photo, you can see the full panoramic view of the city perched on a hill ⛰️, wrapped by the Tagus River 🌊 like a natural moat, with the Alcázar of Toledo rising above the skyline 🏰✨

In the second photo, I’m standing in front of the breathtaking Toledo Cathedral ⛪✨a massive Gothic masterpiece dating back to the 1200s, known for its intricate stonework and towering presence 🤍

Toledo is also renowned for El Greco 🎨, its historic sword-making ⚔️, intricate gold craftsmanship ✨, and its famous marzipan 🍬 Every corner of this city tells a story 🏰💫
