2025.
This year wasn’t about speed.
It was about staying.
Staying with the work when it got quiet.
Staying with the story when it got heavy.
Staying with the belief that meaningful things take time.
I pitched, I rewrote, I lost some battles, and learned where my voice truly sits.
I chased fewer trends, but deeper truth.
I chose stories that mattered, even when they scared me.
2025 taught me patience.
It reminded me why I started, to tell human stories, to honour place, culture, and feeling.
To create work that lingers, not just performs.
I end this year tired, but clear.
Still standing.
Still creating.
Still believing.
Onwards.
