5.45am at Sepang International Circuit. By 6.30 the car hauler rolled in with five Lotus on the back.

Creature Films KL supported the production alongside for Lotus Cars Malaysia's "Every Millisecond Matters."

Hero car was the Emeya, with Tengku Djan as appointed test driver and Daniel Lu also behind the wheel.

Daniel went on to set the fastest publicly reported EV lap at SIC @ 2:20.317 — in a standard production car.

Wrapped around 7pm. Long day, but a good one.

Nine years ago, a passion project called otomoto.my went quiet. This year, we're bringing it back and building something bigger.

otomoto.my is relaunching as a podcast, and Creature Films KL is proud to be behind the camera for this comeback.

Last week we teased something. Now you know what it was. 👀
Malaysia's first ever car football shoot produced by Creature Films KL for KIA Malaysia, in conjunction with their FIFA World Cup 2026 sponsorship.
Creative concept by Autobuzz. Production by us.
Full-size goalpost. 1.5 metre inflatable footballs. KIA cars as the players. KOLs as the team. Sharizan Borhan as the referee. Setup night was a Wednesday in the rain the lorry with the goalpost arrived at 9pm. The shoot happened the next morning regardless.
The video drops closer to the World Cup. Watch this space. ⚽🎬

Something is coming. And Malaysia has never seen it before. 👀
Two days ago, our team was still on the ground at 9pm in the pouring rain, sourcing equipment that doesn't exist off the shelf, setting up for a production that has never been attempted in this country.
The rain didn't stop us. Neither did anything else.

Throwback to IDEVAW 2025 — the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women.
Held at Hemisfera, KL Tower, and organised by UNFPA Malaysia in partnership with the United Nations, the event brought together policymakers and advocates for an important global conversation.
Our team delivered the full live production multi camera coverage, live switching, and streaming to a global audience via UNFPA Malaysia's YouTube channel.
A meaningful initiative, and one we were proud to be part of.

Ever wondered what it takes to pull off a live multi camera studio production? 👀
A financial institution came to us with a serious brief, a live panel discussion on the Ethics of a Globalized World, streamed to a private audience, with senior industry voices at the table.
Our team handled everything. Multi-camera setup. Live switching. Lighting. Teleprompter. End-to-end streaming. One studio. One day. Zero room for error.
The result? A broadcast that looked and felt exactly as serious as the conversation deserved. 🎬

Throwback to one of our live productions! 🥊
We delivered the live broadcast feed for Fury Redemption to RCTI in Indonesia, who streamed it to pay-per-view audiences worldwide via YouTube.
Live boxing doesn't pause for technical issues. Once that bell rings, you're live, and you stay live. No retakes, no "give us a sec." 😅
Behind the scenes: two bonded fibre lines from TM + Starlink as backup. Because when people across the globe have paid to watch, "the wifi's a bit slow" just isn't an option.
Another night, another clean broadcast delivered. 🎬

Ever wonder what's happening behind the scenes at a live event? 👀
While everyone's focused on the stage, our team is locked in on something else entirely.
Three screens. One corner of the room. And a live speedtest running smack in the middle of a corporate event, because we're not just managing the production, we're making sure everyone watching at home gets the same experience as everyone in the room.
Left screen: every camera feed and graphic being switched in real time.
Centre screen: live connectivity monitoring. Because the stream doesn't stop if the internet hiccups, we make sure it doesn't get to that point.
Right: the actual live stream, with viewers joining as it happens.
Two audiences. One team watching both.
That's live production done right. 🎬
