Seasonal Festive Menu at Café Kitsuné🎄🦊

Famous Café Kitsuné from Paris has finally debuted in Malaysia at The Exchange TRX for almost a month, and they’ve recently launched a Christmas menu for this festive season!🧑‍🎄

We highly recommend trying their Cinnamon Hot Chocolate (RM20) that’s creamy, rich, and beyond delicious, a delicate tasty Hazelnut Praline Tart (RM26) which will delight hazelnut lovers, as well as their Yuzu Citron Mousse for a light pick-me up.😋 Their signature fox-shaped shortbread cookies that are now made in Christmas edition is a must-try here too!🦊

Authentic Northern Sri Lankan Cuisine in TTDI, KL 🦀️

Visited Yarl (for the 3rd time) & this time we’re trying their Crabs! Nestled in the busy streets of TTDI, Yarl is an authentic Northern Sri Lankan restaurant that serves a wide range of traditional Sri Lankan food with authentic recipes that originate from the city of Jaffna.

Here’s what we had:
🦀️ Classic Sri Lankan Crab Curry [RM18.75/g]
🦀️ Jaffna Style Crab Curry [RM18.75/g]
Exclusively available for dinner, both the crabs were super fresh & meaty, soaked in flavourful yet aromatic curry with coconut milk and spices. For us, the curry wasn’t too spicy, and was rich & flavorful, best paired with tender crab. Gloves are provided so don’t worry of getting your hands dirty while open it up!

🦀️ Crab Meat Curry [RM85]
If you want to enjoy crabs without the mess, then make your way over and enjoy their bowl full of Sri Lankan Crab Meat Curry that’s perfect with rice!

We also had their:
🍛 Egg Kothu [RM12]🌟
Wonderfully packed full of flavour, colour & texture, Kothu is actually a popular street dish widely consumed throughout Sri Lanka that consists of roti flatbread, aromatic spices, vegetables & tasty meat. The word “kothu” means “to chop” in Tamil, referring to method of preparation.

🍥 Idiyappam [RM9.50]
This is a set of 3 string hoppers served with iddi sambol, tomato onion curry & sothi! The string hoppers consist of rice flour pressed into noodles, laid into a flat disc-like shape & steamed. Personally loved how well it was paired with sothi (coconut milk curry)!

🥥 Appam: Our all-time favourite from Yarl was the Sweet Appam [RM5.50]🌟 that was perfect after a heavy meal! It’s a pancake made from fermented rice batter & coconut milk. If you love ice cream, try out their Ice Cream Appam [RM6] that’s light & fragrant!

🥤 Drinks: We enjoyed Nallen’s Bru Coffee [RM5.90] that was rich, creamy & frothy. For refreshing drinks, try their Mango Yogurt Blends [RM11] & Watermelon Juice [RM9] that will quench your thirst!

Visited this new establishment by Grand Imperial Group to try out their dim sum & hotpot, & turns out we enjoyed everything here! Everything here was meticulously presented with interesting & unique flavours! Located at Setia City Mall, Imperial Dim Sum & Hotpot serves classic pork-free hand-crafted dim sum, as well as hotpot! They even provide barbecue for you to grill fresh ingredients beside your hotpot!

They’ve now opened their doors for all-day dining - be it morning dim sum, lunch, afternoon tea or dinner!😋 There’s even a few private dining rooms catered for celebrations or any special occasions!✨

We had their:

- Steamed Siew Mai with Fresh Prawn 🌟
- Steamed Dumpling in SzeChuan Style🌟

You’d definitely probably have heard of how good Grand Imperial’s Dim Sum was! They now opened their hotpot chain and I’d say it tasted as good! Some highlights were the bite size Deep Fried Lychee Shrimp Ball, steaming hot Siew Mai, & steamed dumplings that will burst in your mouth!

We truly enjoyed their barbecue items! Everything was super fresh & conveniently grilled beside the hotpot.

Each and every ingredient was freshly presented. The star of the show was dipping the Australian Lamb Sliced into the broth - super tender & paired well with the sauce.
