First of all, I’d like to say thank you to ALL of the wonderful people that I’ve met during my time here in Tulum. Y’all really made this place feel like home, and I’ll never forget y’all. you will forever be my brother for life, and I know I will be seeing you around the world! However, it has been the best and (almost) the worst 4 years of my life here. Sometimes I think to myself that I should have left sooner, but honestly I think now is the right time. It had to feel right in my heart, otherwise I would have felt like I left a piece of me behind, always wondering “what if?” has been asking me for years to just drop everything and leave with her to go backpacking around the world, and I dreamed of doing that! But I just could not let go of Tulum, it was my safe space. Well, we all know safe spaces are actually self destructive. So I have come to the decision that it’s time to leave, it feels good in my heart and my mind is at ease. I have let go of Tulum, and now I’m 100% ready to chase my dreams and explore the world with my love, Genn. I am at peace.
