Seconds before this photo was captured, Jared had just finished dancing with his mom. It was a moment that made his bride, Anna, emotional.

My favorite part of the "Special Dances" is to watch the crowd during the dance and immediately after.

Immediately after the mother / son dance finished, he walked back to his chair. That was when Anna stood up and they stole a moment together. I don't know what they said to each other, and it doesn't even matter. What I do know is that I felt it from across the room.

It was that kind of moment where time stands still and nobody in the room matters but the two of you, right here in the present.

Don't forget to steal these moments together on your wedding day. It all goes by so fast. ❤️ This day is about the two of you and your love story.

To First Look or Not? 💍

That's always the question when planning a timeline for your magical day.

There are many reasons to choose either one. If you choose not to have a first look, then seeing each other for the first time at the altar can be an incredibly powerful and emotional moment, not just for the couple but also for your guests.

It adds a sense of tradition and anticipation that builds throughout the day. Guests get to witness the raw, unfiltered reactions, making the moment feel more communal and special for everyone attending. ✨️

No matter which one you choose, the first sight at the end of the altar is still my favorite to capture. Everything leads up to This Moment.

All of the momentum, planning, emotions that build up over the year or so while planning. Stress, tears, laughter..... it all goes quiet the second the doors open. Relief, Joy and love take over. And it can all be bottled up and captured forever in one quick press of the shutter.
