My favorite underwater find so far! This little Dwarf Frogfish was about 1/2 inch long, hiding right in front of the dive shop. I was so happy to spot this cute little critter while doing a private guide at night!

The shore dive from our shop continues to amaze me! Many more rare and interesting critters were seen on that dive. More photos to come!

What an incredible and rare find! I've been looking for one of these for years! Roughback shrimp!

I was guiding a night dive from the shore for some amazing photographers when the color caught my eye from about 15 feet away. I couldn't believe how big this guy was at about an inch long, and it was even more mind blowing when I realized there were 3 of them!

I took 2 quick photos so I could show my clients in the viewfinder what I found. I was lucky to get a shot that was in focus. I haven't been that excited underwater in a long time!

If you love macro life, you have to come for a private guided shore dive at night!

You never know what the shore dive will bring!

We found a peacock flounder trying to swallow a sharpnose puffer! I've never seen a flounder eat something, and I've never seen one of these little puffers blown up.

You don't need to go far to see amazing things in Cozumel. This was in 20 feet of water, right off the pier at the dive shop!

Grass squid, a very unusual species to see here in Cozumel. I was coming back from a daytime shore dive when I saw these. I have only seen one before, and it was on a night dive.

I spent about 30 minutes alone with them, watching them moving about the shallows. They were obviously intelligent and very curious. This pair seemed to be very interested in me and my camera, coming up close and never swimming away. Cephalopods are my favorite critters to watch when observing the behaviors of marine life!

One of the more unusual and beautiful sea slugs in Cozumel. Harlequin Glass Slug. A very large slug for this area, this one was about 2 inches long! Night dives are the best for macro photos!

Something I have spent a lot of time searching for! Skeleton shrimp!
There were at least 3 that I found doing a private guide at night from the shore. So small!
