Mezcal is rooted in the landscape and family tradition . It has a complex history, only matched by its diverse flavours. The future of mezcal will be supported by the passion and enthusiasm of everyone involved from reforestation of endemic agaves to sipping on the spirits that celebrate this rich tapestry of cultural heritage. this image shows Don Crispin from San Dionisio it’s his granddaughters. He works closely with his sons, maintaining their artisinal practices with a focus on how to implement sustainable practices. It is part of an exhibition now up in the new space of in Oaxaca City.
