From Korea to San Miguel de Allende: sunrise elopement session that felt like cinema. 🇲🇽✨🇰🇷

Part III - and my favorite one: where the tension is gone, emotions flow and the story unfolds.

What made this session so special to me?

When E&P first reached out to me all the way from Seoul, I first thought it was a scam.

A beautiful couple flying across the world…for “natural and joyful photos...on the streets of San Miguel…”?

I’m glad we hopped on a call, because it was beautifully real. Ellen and Paul wanted to blend their own style with the vibrant colors of Mexico. This was their official pre-wedding shoot before their big celebration in Korea this summer.

They also wanted an outfit change mid-session - which meant managing two full wedding outfits. Knowing that would be a challenge solo, I immediately reached out to my amazing assistant Lihue, and he helped us during the session.

We mapped out a customized, relaxed itinerary together with E&P. Sunrise is always the perfect time for a couples photoshoot in San Miguel: the air is fresh, the streets are almost empty, and the light is magical. Best combo!

Because E&P are so playful and love to laugh, almost four hours simply flew by. We chased the morning light through the streets and paused for some mezcalitas at Panio. The couple changed into their second look there, and those drinks definitely helped keep the energy flowing 😜

The result is one of my favorite street elopements of all time: a documentary-style gallery with a touch of creative, artistic shots (I love storytelling but also love experimenting with untraditional techniques).

I’m incredibly happy we managed to capture that real energy, connection, and pure joy between Ellen and Paul. Feeling beyond grateful for couples like you, for your trust and openness. ✨🙏🏼

P&R - Wedding in Mexico City.

One of the most stylish weddings we’ve ever captured, with every detail thought of and highly elaborated: from the table setups to the groom’s vest design.

Put that on top of an incredible loving couple, amazing family and friends, gorgeous locations of Sofitel and Proyectos Públicos Prime, an emotional day and a crazy fiesta + afterparty - and the recipe for “wow” is ready.

Cherry on top? Champagne sabrage by the couple!
(see final photo)

Challenging? Yes. Beautiful, creative and emotional - also yes.

A tiny sneak peek here, much more coming.

Thank you Pau and Ryan for your trust, and to the team of vendors who made it possible:

H&N - beach elopement in Puerto Escondido. 🌅

For this one, Haley & Neil wanted something that would be a bit more than just “hey, we’re on the beach at sunset”. They traveled all the way from Canada to Puerto Escondido, and wanted to make this elopement experience special, intimate and cinematic.

When we connected over the call, it became pretty clear: they wanted the photos to reflect that sunset beauty, but also tell who they are: adventurous and romantic at the same time.

That’s what we created the plan around: starting in the woods and slowly walking out to my favorite epic cliffs, followed by having fun on the beach.

As the light faded, we finished on a slow and dreamy note: lanterns, soft touches and smiles, sunset glow in the background.

Haley & Neil, I’m grateful for couples like you: bold, sincere and loving. Focused more on the experience, on your laughs and tears, on running around and goofing on the beach, on your journey. Thank you for opening up and trusting me to capture those moments. 🙏🏼

Casa Piscina del Cielo (Zihuatanejo) - Part III - interior & exterior photography of this cliffside beauty.

Three days, thousands of shots taken…and one stunning home. A dream to photograph: from sunrise light entering the spaces, to the tiniest design details by regional artisans (from Guadalajara to Mexico City).

The Star of the house - and the reason for its name - is that spectacular pool, with glass floor panels, engineered by Manuel Mojica (the same project manager behind the iconic Grand Canyon Skywalk).

Standing beneath that pool on the “Sunrise deck” felt out of this world (definitely my favorite space of the house).

Photographing the architecture and interiors was a bit of a challenge: the house looks stunning both in the morning and afternoon light. Open spaces flowing into one another and outdoors, ocean views from every corner, details and textures - no wonder the session took 3 days straight.

Designed by Danielle Rios Design Studio (), executed by Zozaya, this project is pure storytelling in architecture.

Congrats to Danielle and her team for creating this gem, and for the publications: Architectural Digest, Beverly Weekly, Forbes - and more to come.

Grateful to work with talented creatives, and share 📸 🙏🏼

Amplitude Coliving - Part II - Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca 🏠📸

I love projects where the founder’s personality just shines through everything and reflects in the property. Kenny is young, energetic, and genuinely loves building community.
So, the concept of Coliving makes so much sense and fits him perfectly🤙🏼

It also made me think how Puerto is changing…and how this concept is one of the smartest responses to the reality of 2026 traveliving - remote work, longer stays, and craving real community. And all of this without giving up comfort.

What was especially cool about Amplitude is that it’s not just functional - it’s architectural. Kenny recently shared how intense the build journey was, and it shows: this is not a generic “beds + coworking” concept - it feels designed and full of style. Makes sense they’ve got 95%+ occupancy since month one.

Architectural context:
The concept comes from “amplitude” as a wave - the idea that a space can amplify relationships, energy, and daily life. A few important design moves:
- Community through circulation: courtyards, open corridors, and shared paths that naturally create “run into each other” moments - without forced socializing.
- Clear architectural language: rhythmic arches, strong geometry, and a warm mineral palette that fits the coastal context.
- Real variety of rooms: from spacious loft-style rooms to more compact options, depending on how much space you want.
- Common areas that actually support daily life: A/C coworking, a big kitchen, and a pool that becomes the social heart (with Paco the swan as the mascot).
This feels like that sweet spot between hostel life and hotel life - people can share the experience and make friends, but still keep their privacy and comfort.
