This season has been rough for all of us here in Playa. I’m saying it without filters because I believe there’s more strength in honesty than in pretending everything’s fine.

A lot of businesses are closing. A lot of us are out of work or making way less than usual. And this isn’t just a feeling it’s real.

But I also know that as a community, we can hold each other up. By sharing, recommending, choosing local over the chain every time.

I see the floor, the weird angles, the windows, the reflections, the light… and all the questionable decisions in between. 😂

Sometimes I shoot from the floor. Sometimes from a chair. Sometimes through a window, a reflection, or whatever happens to be in front of me.

Because wedding photography, for me, isn’t just about finding a beautiful place.
