8.16 - Phantom Ship at Crater Lake.
You can tell this was my favorite subject to photograph. I kept telling Cassie I think that there's a real ship somewhere - it's just a small island. Also, the last photo is just !
If you go, the prettiest views of sunset are at the Sun Notch, Phantom Ship, and Cloud Cap Overlook. The best for a morning coffee or evening wine/hot chocolate is at the Crater Lake Lodge. They have a patio which is super relaxing. And lastly, I recommend getting in - it's freezing but it's the cleanest lake in the country so I highly recommend it! You can do this at the Cleetwood Cove Trail.
I'm missing summer already but enjoying the crisp fall air in Colorado!
