I’ve had the fortune of dedicating my time to photography, its world of possibilities, and enjoying it, for over 15 year... I have found this to be the perfect means for me to create, express, learn and share who I am, what I feel and how I see life. The different styles, themes and "focus" of my work, each, respond to the stages in my life, appreciation of new things, new techniques and are the r
esult of my desire to experiment and apply this wonderful art tool, which is the camera...
Through it, I've discovered different ways to observe, understand and appreciate my surroundings, as well as developed my own graphic language to express ideas and feelings. My photo exhibits have been "filters" through which I have had the opportunity to sum up periods of work, growth and definition... Through the "From Definition to Abstraction" and "Glimpse" collections, I could say I've synthesized to some degree, this study and search for elements to express and create. Whether it’s people, nature, animals or urban subjects that capture my attention, I never cease to be amazed by their constant change, as well as my own. Regarding my work, I've been trying to create images that transmit my perception of things, their appearance, their energy...My feelings, sensations and first impressions. I've described my work as "Glimpses of life" (Title of my photo exhibits), where light is the heart and soul of every instance we are able to capture through our eyes, and our lenses. Trying to capture these instances, these abstractions of my surroundings and events, has moved me to understand Photography, techniques and blend them with life, with me...and the very subjective impression they cause on me. "There is no constant in life... everything changes..." CRG
"Your perception of things is precisely that... YOUR perception... But if you turn back after one instant to observe something or someone, it will have changed... and so will you."
