Él oró antes de decirle que la amaba.

Tres años trabajando en la misma iglesia. Él como obrero bíblico, ella como directora de Obra Misionera. Antes de hablarle, buscó a Dios, al pastor y a familias de confianza. Así es él.

El día de la boda, ella entró del brazo de su hermano. Y él la esperaba al frente, con un esmoquín verde que había elegido con cuidado especial para recibirla.

Dentro de la ceremonia hubo lavamiento de pies — cada uno arrodillado frente al otro, lavándole los pies como gesto de servicio y humildad. La forma en que eligieron empezar.

Lisset me contó que alguien muy cercano a ella, como de su familia, preparó su casa para que se arreglaran ahí y salieran rumbo a la iglesia. Lo hizo por iniciativa propia, porque así quiso que ella viviera ese momento. Son esos gestos los que cambian la forma de vivir un día como este.

Al día siguiente volvimos al parque donde, durante su noviazgo, solían orar juntos. Regresar al lugar donde le pidieron a Dios este matrimonio, un día después de vivirlo.

Priscila.

She brought her tennis story into her senior session.

Not just the racket. The years behind it.

There was something about that court at golden hour — the blue lines, the quiet before a serve, heels on hard surface — that made the whole session feel personal before we ever got to the cap and gown.

Then came the medals, the graduation robe, and the flags from Mexico and Angola.

That’s a lot to carry in one senior year: practice, family, heritage, and the beginning of whatever comes next.

She brought a book to her senior session.

Not as a prop. That part matters.

There was something about that cloudy afternoon at Stockyards that fit her well — the old train cars, the layered walls, the quiet corners, the feeling of a place that has already carried a lot of stories.

Camila moved through it all without trying to perform for the camera. Some photos felt soft and reflective. Others had more character, more presence.

Senior year lives in that strange middle place: still close to who you’ve been, but already stepping toward who you’re becoming.

This session was exactly that.

Graduating this year? Your session can start with whatever already feels like you.

Some stages feel like they will last longer… until they start to change.

One day they still fit in your arms, run around mom, laugh, get distracted, hold on tight… and before we know it, that season already looks different.

This session was part of our first test shoots for our Mother’s Day mini sessions, and it reminded us of something beautiful: family photos do not have to feel stiff or overly posed to say something meaningful.

Sometimes what matters most is having something real from this season — the games, the hugs, the little looks, the movement, the kids being kids… and mom right in the middle of it all.

A heartfelt thank you to this family for giving us their time, their trust, and their love as we continue shaping this experience.

Hay fotos que uno va dejando para después…
y cuando menos piensa, ya pasaron años.

Esta sesión fue parte de nuestras primeras pruebas para las mini sesiones de Día de las Madres, y nos dejó algo muy bonito: estas fotos no son solo para mamás con niños pequeños.

También valen mucho la pena cuando las hijas ya crecieron.
Cuando cada quien tiene su vida, sus pendientes y sus horarios… pero todavía hay una historia muy bonita con mamá que vale la pena guardar.

Gracias de corazón a esta bella familia por regalarnos su tiempo, su cariño y su confianza para comenzar a darle forma a esta idea.

Este fue apenas el inicio.
