Querida Lilly, RIP Lilly
Não faz nem 7 horas que a gente perdeu o Wolf e você já resolveu ir atrás dele.
No começo, a gente achou que era por causa da viagem, ou que você só estava sentindo a falta dele... Mas no fim era um tumor e vários outros problemas que nenhum veterinário no México viu, e hoje à noite já era tarde demais. A idade pesou de uma vez. Eu nem tive tempo de digerir a perda do Wolf e agora os dois se foram.
Lilly, você era tão doce, mas ao mesmo tempo tão brava. Não confiava em qualquer um de jeito nenhum. Ficava olhando de longe, avaliando a pessoa antes de deixar chegar perto, e se estivessem te enchendo o s**o, você mostrava logo.
A gente te adotou na Louisiana com só 8 semanas, tão pititica, e o Wolf já tinha 1 ano e era gigante. Você veio para fazer companhia para ele e desde filhote nunca teve medo de nada, topando mudar com a gente para todo canto.
Quando você era novinha e a gente esquecia a luz acesa, seu jeito de reagir à ansiedade era roer nossos sapatos. E ultimamente, sua mania era cavar buracos no meu jardim todo santo dia.
Quando corremos com você para a clínica hoje à noite, eu não conseguia acreditar que você se foi antes mesmo da gente conseguir falar com a Mel para vocês se despedirem.
Você vai fazer muita falta. Mas pelo menos agora você está correndo livre de dor do lado do Wolf, do jeitinho que vocês faziam lá em Carmen.
Te amamos para sempre, minha gordita.

5 years ago, I moved here and started completely from scratch. It wasn't easy, but perseverance paid off. I’m leaving with a stronger business, better Spanish, and memories with some of the most amazing people. 🫶🏼
