As Pride Month comes to an end, I’ve been thinking about the greatest privilege of my life.🩷

It wasn’t becoming a wedding photographer.
It was growing up believing that love never had to be hidden.
I know that not everyone has had that experience, and I never take mine for granted.
My parents raised my sister and me with unconditional love. They never asked us to be anyone other than ourselves. They simply loved us.

Today, I’m proud to be married to the woman I love. I’m grateful that our families celebrated our marriage, and that through my wife I found another family who welcomed me with open arms.

I’m also grateful that my nephews are growing up in a world that feels a little kinder and more accepting than the one I knew as a child.

My hope is that they never have to question whether love deserves to be celebrated.

My dad taught me photography. Through the art he shared with me, my sister, my family and I now have the privilege of documenting love stories around the world.

Looking back, I realize that love has shaped every part of my life.

My family.
My marriage.
My work.

Thank you to every couple who has trusted us with their story.
Love deserves to be celebrated. Always.

Today we celebrate love, pride, and the freedom to be seen.

Karen & Leila’s wedding was a beautiful reminder that every love story deserves to be celebrated with joy, authenticity, and without limits.

Their unforgettable wedding weekend began with a vibrant Mexican welcome party through the colorful canals of Xochimilco, followed by an intimate first look at Colima 71 in the heart of Mexico City, before celebrating their union with family and friends at Casa Xipe in Coyoacán.

As a wedding photographer, documenting stories like theirs is both an honor and a privilege. Here’s to love in all its forms, and to every couple who gets to love freely and proudly.
