Se siente hermoso formar parte de esto.

Confieso que cada vez que las veo una parte de mí solo quiere soltar la cámara y bailar con ustedes. Ya nos ha pasado… por suerte ese día pude capturar estas imágenes que reflejan mas allá de su ferocidad; la profunda dulzura de Gruta.

Gruta ~

Gruta es un homenaje al linaje femenino, a las ancestras que nos preceden y a la fuerza colectiva que se transmite a través de sus historias.

Mi mirada se sitúa en los estados que emergen: gestos que aparecen y desaparecen, presencias que se sostienen, cuerpos atravesados por otras vidas.

Aquí, el tiempo no es lineal. El pasado se filtra en el presente y se manifiesta en el cuerpo como memoria encarnada. Cada retrato habita ese umbral donde distintas capas del tiempo conviven, donde lo íntimo y lo ancestral se tocan.

Así, se construye un espacio visual donde la memoria permanece activa, cercana, todavía en curso: un homenaje a lo que nos precede y a la fuerza colectiva que nos sostiene.

Gruta is a tribute to the female lineage—to the ancestors who came before us and the collective strength carried through their stories.

My gaze moves through the states that emerge: gestures that appear and dissolve, presences that linger, bodies shaped by other lives.

Here, time folds. The past filters into the present, taking form in the body as embodied memory. Each portrait inhabits a threshold where layers of time converge, where the intimate meets the ancestral.

A visual space unfolds where memory remains active, close, still in motion—a tribute to what came before us and to the collective force that sustains us.

la última ronda de este shoot que hicimos en Tokyo. Después de dos meses viajando por el Sudeste asiático no podia regresar sin hacer esto. Lo amé absolutamente. Gracias a Emanuel, a y a por ese día inolvidable ♥️

Quiero comenzar el 2026 por aquí, con este proyecto experimental que me ha permitido crear y explorar desde la curiosidad y desde formas que aún estoy aprendiendo a habitar. 🌞

Me conmueve lo nuevo, lo inexplorado, aquello que no comprendo del todo con la mente, pero sí con el instinto. Así surgió este proyecto, totalmente hecho a mano y a corazón.

Bodies in Suspense es una serie en proceso que nace del deseo de escuchar al cuerpo. A través del retrato intuitivo y experimental, la fotografía se convierte en un espacio sensible entre lo físico y lo simbólico.

Esta primera parte reúne autorretratos que en donde los gestos y emociones aparecen en momentos íntimos, sin protección, cuando el cuerpo puede hablar libremente, sin juicio.

Al intervenir las imágenes a mano, vuelvo a tocar la fotografía, y en ese gesto, la imagen regresa al cuerpo y se deja atravesar, se vuelve porosa, vulnerable, viva; vuelve a transformarse. 🔥

I want to begin 2026 here, with this experimental project that has allowed me to create and explore through curiosity and through forms I am still learning to inhabit.

I’m moved by what is new, what remains unexplored — by what I don’t fully understand with the mind, but feel through instinct. This is how this project came to be, entirely made by hand and from the heart.

Bodies in Suspense is an ongoing series born from the desire to listen to the body. Through intuitive and experimental portraiture, photography becomes a sensitive space between the physical and the symbolic.

This first part brings together self-portraits where gestures and emotions emerge in intimate, unguarded moments, when the body can speak freely, without judgment.

By intervening the images by hand, I return to touch in photography. In that gesture, the image comes back to the body and allows itself to be traversed — becoming porous, vulnerable, alive; transforming once again. ❤️‍🔥
